The Jag Forum is absolutely THE BEST. It is full of useful information and, more important, a bunch of people who really try to help each other and provide knowledgeable or at least thoughtful responses to questions. On this site you can actually get useful information. I found out how truly good this site is just a few days ago when I joined the mercedesforums site. I'm going to replace the brakes on my wife's car and I posted a thread asking for some tips on the job and parts. A post like that on this site would get get tons of responses with links to related threads and advice on installation and parts etc.. So far on the mercedes site, 54 people have read my thread and not 1 has responded.

So, I just want say how fortunate I think we are to have this great site. And I particularly want to thank all of the truly knowledgeable people and the site moderators who take the time to provide such valuable insite and information. This site is GREAT!!!

This forum is great. I think our size helps as well. Larger forums get so bombarded that posts fall through the cracks where here they get picked up and get personal attention (our members are great about that) yet we are big enough that it seems like no matter what the issue is, someone here has experience with it, or at least has thought about it Also, our mods are wonderful. Posts like this seem to come up quite a bit, but it's so true. This is probably the best forum I've been associated with and I'm glad it's managed to stay that way as long as I've been here.

I think it all boils down to the fact that we're a "rare breed" of folks who own a "rare breed" of automobiles. Thanks to all for being here!

Agreed. This is about the perfect size for a forum, maybe a little on the smaller size, but anything much bigger would probably turn this forum into a much different place. I've seen it happen to many forums.

Last week alone, I saved $1,200 from advice I found on this site. It never ceases to amaze me how each question, no matter how trivial, is given a serious response or guidance on where to find an answer.

I can't believe how many projects I've tackled thanks to the confidence and concise
explanations, videos and how-to's so many members have contributed to this site.
Before this experience, I was having anxiety attacks about replacing my air filter.
Now, in the weirdest of twists, I actually look forward to taking on problems that would have freaked me out in the past. Needless to say, I've bought a lot of new tools from Harbor Freight.

You guys truly are the coolest. I am very grateful for being part of a very exclusive club. A special thanks to the Jaguar Techs that bring their years of experience to the
toughest of issues, and the mods are simply amazing compared to other auto-centric sites. . . . Ed

On behalf of all the regular posters, experienced DIY'ers, Techs, mods and members, yourselves included, I'd like to say a big thank you for this positive post about Jaguarforums.com

I personally have been here since the very early days when there were only around 100 members or less and have seen it grow steadily over the years. I love this place and the people that frequent it........

I'm a mod on 3 other sites and a member of another 4 or so.....This is without doubt the friendliest and best site for many reasons IMO

I want to say one thing that makes this site so good. When you post something you will be forgiven if make a typo or spelling error. Or if you can't seem to find the correct words to say something, someone will help you clear it up without putting you down. That is special.
