Letting Convertible Top Down In 30-40 Degree Weather Is This Safe ? Please Advise

Jeeesh - however cold or hot it might be, if you want the top down put it down.....surely thats why you bought a convertible in the first place. I really cannot imagine what damage could be caused....here in the UK there are some guys driving round as soon as the skies have cleared of rain etc ( can be a bit frosty sometimes ) but with the heat on full and wrapped up warm in hats, coats, scarves and gloves ( that always really really kills me...lol ) and they and their car always seem fine as far as I can tell......no negative side effects whatsoever

Jim, thats me.... I am the guy without the hat, coat & gloves and a massive smile on my face
I paid extra for the raghead, I pay extra for insurance, I pay extra for fuel (less aerodynamic and heavier) so I am determined to get every moment of use that I can out of it
