Can I put dibs on a black convertible boot cover?

I need 2 20" BBS rings if it has them. I also have a 99 blue XJ8 by me.. tan interior... i can strip whatever is needed off it.. a lot of it gone already though.

 

You just reminded me, I need a new driver side. (grey too) You need both AVguy?

 

I could use both, the flipper door mirror is the issue as well as the covering has pulled back from edge at cut out for mirror on driver side.

I have beem stretching fabric slowly and should be able to glue down and not have it pull back but still have issue with failed plastic parts within spring hinges on mirrors.

I did find some industrial strngh. clear velcro and I applied a tiny square to the corner of the mirrors to retain them in the out of way position, this holds the door open about 1/16" to 1/8" but makes it not noticeable or objectionable and the mirrors and lights work OK. I am keeping eye out for a pair to stash and put on if I ever sell the car. Kind of like the car, might be quite a while stashed away. HMMM....Might put them on if I find them after all.

 

I could use the wood(all the wood) Mine is very sunfaded and the airbag cover and shifter wood are both cracked.

 

All - sorry for the long delay in getting back to these boards on the requests. To make a long story a bit shorter, the list of about 30 part requests I consolidated and passed along wasn't well received. The bottom line is he didn't want to put the work into researching the condition / price of all the list if much of it was "just browsing" type questions. I would have thought he would have been grateful for the business, but what do I know?

To help with your shopping, I did check out their inventory a couple of weeks ago. They have 5 XKs in various stages of being picked over. There are 4 convertibles: 97/97/98/99 and one '05 XKR coupe. The convertibles are red, white, blue, and tan with tan interiors (one might be ivory). The XKR is black/black. Some of the parts have been pulled and are in a warehouse. Much of the shells / interiors have been sitting in the weather...some for several years.
