I'm looking for a J-Gate shifter plate for my 2003 XK8 6-speed. NOT the trim around the plate. The plate with the PRND on it.

I've searched this web-site and ebay, and looks like there used to be an aluminum one available, but it's not anymore, or I can't find it.

The only option seems to be buying a whole shifter unit, when one comes up. Right now there are no 6-speeds on ebay. Is this my only option?

If the billet aluminum plates or replacement plastic plates only are our there, please point me in the right direction.

I need a new shifter plate because it is cracked and the previous owner's hack mechanic got some kind of glue on it that's never coming off.

This is the guy who sold me my aluminum shifter trim plate for my 5 speed XK8. Send him a pm asking if he is still selling them. He usually replies within 1 - 3 days.

The fit and finish is perfect and it looks spectacular. I bought mine this past November. I'll upload a picture of mine in a few hours so you can see if you like it.

 

I sent solar_signa a note through e-bay. He has nothing for sale right now, but hopefully he has some shifter plates available.

The part number I get from JEPC is C2N1306 if you want to try googling it.

 

The Aluminum 5 and 6 speeds were just resisted on eBay!

Just ordered the 6-speed one. Get them while they last, I had emailed this seller over 2 years ago about these, and nothing.. Won't wait this time around, it's the only option that's worthy of my xkr!
