Either that or the cars are appreciating. Here's a 'vert for $26,750 w/66,000 miles. Val sells nice cars and seems to be a good guy based on previous correspondence with him.

^^^^^^^^^ +1

especially if the damage results in a "salvage title", which equals out to a 20 - 40 % hit on the value.

I came across this one: XKR Base. I don't think they know what they've got. It's a victory edition. I'm doing some research on the vin to make sure it hasn't been in a crash, otherwise the price is amazing. I'll take it and still work on whatever is wrong with the engine.
Edit: Accident was reported back in 2016, no details though.
Byakuyan…. But those "Wheels", as you call them are 20* "Sepangs" and only cost like $700.00 to $900.00 a piece or more!....and you want a "Victory Edition"....This is one of the "Wheels" that comes on the "VE's"....Hmmm! Hopefully, you realize that a "VE" is now 13 or 14 years old and most of them are going to have 60,000 or more miles on them and they only made 1,050 of them to sell in the USA and that includes Coupes and Convertibles! If you want one, you better hurry!! Even though your not a "Fan" of the "Sepangs"....Good Luck with that.....

I've seen that one before on the forums, the last picture is eerily familiar.

Thank you! You're car is definitely beautiful and I will give it some consideration. I should point out that I received some news from my father over the weekend regarding my mother's health. Not troubling anyone with details, but my purchase process was put on hold as we await some tests. Family first,

Default XKR Coupe

I just purchased a 2003 XKR coupe with 55,000 miles in Scottsdale on eBay. Clean new brakes and pads and runs well. I picked it up and drove it 3110 miles at an averasge speed of 59MPH with 25MPG. It originally had Montreal BBS but sometime in the past it was changed over to a set of 19" wheels. I paid $12,225 and it needs a bit of refreshining but a nice car. It is some road car!!!

HuskyOne,

Good looking 2003 XKR! Seems to be Onyx with Black Interior and the mileage is great! Looks like Brembo Brakes and 19" Atlas Wheels and only 55,000 Miles on her! Now aren't you something? HuskyMan...I bought my 1st XK8 in Louisville back in1998 found it on eBay also! I drove from Houston in my 1996 Lincoln Mark VIII and came back in my Topaz Coupe....Now aren't we something?

Looks like you got a good deal! Billy Clyde in Houston

Nice black jag!

the wheels look like the 18” Winter Alloy” factory option (only 10 spoke available) ...& look good on car

Good deal with such low miles too.

Cheers,
Andy
