Lowbeam headlight pattern-00 xk8 convertible
The passenger headlight provides adequate light with no discernible pattern.
The driver's side headlight shines with a partial square wave pattern (mimicking the shape of the housing). Both headlight housings appear to be identical, and the bulbs appear to be installed in the same position.
There is no difference in the high beam patterns.
The bumper cover has been repainted, so I suspect previous front end damage, although the housing glass, etc. is in excellent shape.
I appreciate any/all ideas. It's bothersome to drive at night.

The low beams have a shield to cut off the top of the beam. If you were to shine them on a garage door at night, you would notice the flat cutoff with a higher bump on the right side for roadside illumination. The cutoff is to reduce glare to other drivers. Both sides have this so if one side is good and the other isn't, a little adjustment might fix it.
