Default LS3 Conversion 1999 XK8

Just completed my LS3 new crate motor with new 6L80 automatic. Re did all suspension bushings , shocks HR springs new Michelin 255/40/19 285/35/19 . 2.5 over axle exhaust . Car drives and preforms like a brand new car. The help from Andrew ant Jaguar Specialty’s was fantastic. He worked with us thru any issues we had many times on weekends . Fantastic car way better than the car was new with old motor and set up.

It was a lot of work , main issues was a GM problem the wiring harness from factory . We never thought that was the issue but once we figured it out along with Sndrews assistance with GM got new harness and everything worked . I’m very pleased with the car

Ditto. Wiring took the most time. Pictures or it didn’t happen

That is great, did you get the engine right from GM? How many hours and dollars do you think you had in this project?

Let me see if I am close 150 hours and $17k

Not bad for this kind of performance, if I am close

I have 7 to & months just working on it when I could. The install went fast the new GM harness was wired backwards spent more time thinking I did something wrong before finally found that. Motor and Transmission were all new from GM. I think all in with suspension, tires rims I’m close to 30k. But it’s basically new car and fun to drive. I am going to change rear end to a 3:54 positive traction I’m looking for one now. Get a little more low end it’s a 3:06 now. Good luck with your project
