My 1999 Ram has an interior leather kit ordered from Katzkin in Califfornia. I had it installed in January 2001. It has held up extremely well with minimum care required (moist toweling, dry buffing, and then a Lexol application every now and then). If Katzkin is still in business, they may be worth contacting....

I'm looking for a thin soft drivers seat cover simply to protect my seat as it is in remarkable condition, in the light color Dove. I had one for my Corvette and it worked great, protection and no damage, but it came with so I don't know where it came from. Any ideas?

The Lseat covers are actual replacement leather upholstery, so you would have to remove your stock leather and replace. I used them on my Acura seats, and they did well, but I would consider them daily driver quality, not restoration quality. You do get what you pay for.
For a thin seat cover to go over your existing upholstery, I have heard good things about Iggee seat covers, available on Ebay , Amazon, or direct.. https://www.iggee.com/
