Default Missing roof tool

I just wanted to put something back where it should be in case (knock on wood) I ever had a roof failure - that never happens on these cars though does it...

I peeked into the hole in the roof and stuck one of my tools in there. Appears to be a T40 Torx. Can anyone confirm?

I am sure if that is indeed what it is I can find a L shaped T40 that may even fit into the clips correctly (they are still there) cheaper than the $25 that the dealer wants.

I am not sure what size it is and never had a reason to measure it and not sure it is a T40. I do believe it is a metric allen wrench. I will check when I get a chance.

Ok, thanks! I had a large 8mm Hex in stock in the ole tool chest that fit right into the clips. Interesting - I did pop the little cover and confirmed it worked, which it did, but I shined a flashlight in there again and it really does look like a Torx and a T40 that I have in one of those fold out kits fits in and engages also.

Never looked at the valve but the Jaguar tool is a simple 8mm Allen wrench.
