Default Mud flaps

Has anyone installed the factory mud flaps (stone guards)?
If so, do they do a good job keeping rocks from flying up and do they look okay?
Here's a link.

Hi,
I fitted them shortly after I got the car as anything that helps to keep cr*p off the bodywork is OK by me. No holes to drill, either.

Aesthetics? I dont find them obtrusive - see what you think:

I am going to fit them to my car I think. I get stone chips all unde the sills and it has surface rust all along it. Not a good look. Mud and horse crap from farms all under the sills.

they work very well and are very unobtrusive on a dark colored car.

I put them on my car a few months ago. Easy to install, fit the car well, but don't look very good. The previous owner of my car painted it shortly before I purchased it so I thought the mud flaps would keep the paint along the bottom/sides of the car from chipping. Time will tell.

Has anyone found a good match of any of the later model spec mud flaps from Rimmer Bros to the fenders of an XJS Facelift (1992)?
