My Cat got keyed at work!!!

Same thing happened to me at work. I was so mad and the cameras didn't pick it up because the trees had blossomed. All I could do was forgive who ever did and get it fixed. Thank God they were surface scratches that could be buffed out. The crazy thing is when something like that happens you suspect everybody. Too much stress, i had to let it go.

Then they wonder 'why can't we all just get along'--right!! Not possible when there are a**holes around that somehow actually feel better after they destroy someone else's property just for the hell of it.
You have had the car quite a while now without problems at work so did something recently happen that pissed off a co-worker? I hope you find the jerk.

None of my immediate co-workers have a problem with me, so I can pretty much rule out my department. We share the building with technicians that actually go out and fix the turbines and they somewhat resent us sharing the building with them, so that could be part of it. I don't know the technicians all that well and there are some new hires out there, but I think this is mostly a jealousy issue.

It just makes a person sick to see thier car has been keyed. The next decision becomes, should I wait a while before getting it repaired because it could hapen again then I can get both fixed at once. I always feel somhow that when it gets fixed the bad guy will see it, and do it again. My car has been riding around with a scrape for a few months. Maybe I'll get the bumper clear coated when I get the scrape fixed. Why would someone want to vandalize a work of art?

I just got back from taking my wifes car (Subaru) to a body repair shop for an estimate to replace a rear bumper and light assembly. She backed into something.
While there, I noticed the car parked next to hers. Black Lexus. The first thing I noticed was someone keyed the trunk lid pretty bad.
Then I noticed the hood was keyed REALLY bad. In addition to a bunch of miscellaneous key marks, they perp keyed "BITCH" on the hood.
The service writer said the perp also loosened all the lug nuts. And bashed in the left rear window.
Not nice.

Sad but so true these days. No matter where you go there seems to be a general decline in basic civility. Most of the people I know that have been successful and have nice possessions worked there a** off to get there and did not lose their respect for others in the process. Take the high road Keith and handle it like a gentleman.

Wonder if keying is less of a problem in jusrisdictions where firearms carry permits are common.

My worst nightmare...and I was bitchin about the half dozen door dings I've had to have popped out in the last 4 years, only one of which required surface paint repair. I do hope they/you find out who did that and press charges...the more time passes the less likely anything will be done, so press hard my friend.
