My 'new' garage (for those who like restoration projects and pics)

Another testament to your tenacity Matt. That is really awesome! For me, the sign of a well-earned and proud smile at the end of a project is when you say, "I could never do that again if I had to start right now". Sounds like you earned this one.
PS- I got a 33 Gal. compressor around the time I bought my latest XK8. I made it 45 years without one just fine. The thought of buying one always seemed like fishing with live bait vs. lures: "cheating" a little. : )
I haven't needed air tools for my car yet but used them to replace the struts on my sons car. WOW- What was I thinking? Jac

That chair is sweet! I can't believe it is still in its prototype phase, waiting for investors and/or a manufacturer to pick up the product. I seriously considered it for as much rolling around and working on either the wheels well area, under the car, at the work bench, etc. It just needs a mode so I can hover over an engine bay, and i'd scoop one up.
Thanks Richard, you were a small part of its success.
Sean, that's my plan. You know how homes have those photos of various rooms, etc? My ad will have the garage show first, just behind the 'curb appeal' image.

I promised i'd get this video recorded showing the battery powered parking assist system I mentioned earlier in the thread. The red light went out directly after I stopped recording, and the unit doesn't wake up again until you start backing out. Even walking in front of the sensor doesn't trigger it to wake, so the batteries should last a long time.
Pardon the mess, the xk8 was in the middle of that intake manifold teardown and I had tools/parts strewn everywhere. All cleaned up now.

No need to apologize for the mess. The XK was receiving loving attention.
'Bout the video, a verbal commentary would have been useful.
Now approaching x distance, light green, now approaching y distance light amber, now at optimal distance light red.
You know that we natives are as thick as two short planks when it comes to technolology.
My last park aid was a tennis ball suspended from a string.
When it touched the windscreen, I was 2" from the wall.

Fun to go back through your photos for renewed inspiration, Matt. I just got all my non-car stuff out of the garage this week into a new shed. Texturing and painting and aciding (well not that kind) and epoxying, here I come!
I like the spinny stool idea. And thought I mentioned it before, you really should have put a urinal in there... I'm trying to see if I could get away with putting one in my side yard while the wife is out one day...

Thanks Len, I know the floor was risky trying it myself, but I couldn't let that one part of the garage rehab scare me into hiring someone else. There's a few goofs, I must confess. Rolled up the chips w/ my clear epoxy brush twice, so its got a couple spots of heavy chip areas. And I sure could have spent more time filling in some deeper divots.
Its holding up great so far too, its really tough.
