Default Name or source for connector on front of valve cover.

My car had timing chain upgrade done before I bought it,,apparently whoever did it wrecked both these connectors ,
they are barely hanging on and they fall out just by looking at them the wrong way.
Are these available or will I have to get them from a junked car?

The connector is for the variable valve timing solenoid. Your best bet is a wrecking yard.

Thats what I was afraid of,,
the plastic bodies dont fare well after 20 years.

In July 2018 I ordered two new VVT harness connector plugs for my wife's 2006 XK8 from rockauto.com. They were made by Airtex/Wells and the part number was 1P1792. About $10 each and they were a perfect fit. No soldering required - you disassemble the old plug and then assemble the new plug onto the existing harness....

Doesnt show that part as avialable for a 1999 XK8.

There are 3 options for the '03, with pictures, each stating suitability back to MY1997:

hmm,, weird if you look under 1999 it doesnt come up at all..
