Need moderator to look at add
I am having a terrible time using the forum right now with the Wallmart add. If you even pass the cursor over the add (not even click on it) it will pop up and cover half the page. I am not against the add it just needs to be brought under control.
Thanks for a great forum.

I have had a few websites built over the years, and I once had some work done by a guy who knew how to get pop up ads to appear all over the internet on other people's websites.
Depending upon your browser, and your settings, and what other sites you visit and allow to have access to your info (Facebook is the worst) you can get ads from anywhere, even places that are not associated with the site that you are on. That may be the case here.
Also, they are VERY sophisticated these days with the ads that you see, and you will see ads that are related to searches or other websites that you have visited that, once again, may have no relationship with the site that you are on.
Hey, this forum is free, so they have to make money somewhere, and it is through ads. Some others may very well be poaching on their territory.
Welcome to the internet.

As I said initially, I'm NOT against the add. But all you have to do is pass the cursor over the add and it blows up to cover almost the whole screen. You don't even have to click on it to have it do that. Very annoying and hard to manage. And it has nothing to do with Jags. I support adds as they bring in money for the forum. But this is too much and it is out of control. It is not always there for those of you that haven't seen it as the adds cycle through. Haven't seen it yet today so I hope it is gone.

I turned off all my ad blockers and chose the most vulnerable browser but cannot seem to induce the ad's presence.
I agree with you that this is a bad move for the advertisers as it might just drive you away from buying from them or possibly from revisiting this site. A lose-lose.
Your best option is to install ad blocker for your browser

and possibly Ghostery
Ghostery
to learn to what degree we're being tracked across the interweebs.
