New suspension bushes, anything else?
I'd really appreciate some advice before I start a job.
I'm buying a complete set of Powerflex bushes for the suspension, these are:
I'm buying a complete set of Powerflex bushes for the suspension, these are:
No1. FRONT LOWER WISHBONE REAR BUSH x 2
No2. FRONT UPPER WISHBONE BUSH x 4
No3. FRONT LOWER WISHBONE FRONT BUSH x 2
No5. FRONT ANTI ROLL BAR BUSH 25mm x 2
No7. REAR BEAM MOUNT BUSH x 2
No8. REAR ANTI ROLL BAR MOUNTING BUSH 17mm x 2
No9. REAR PANHARD ROD BUSH x 4
No10. REAR ANTI ROLL BAR LINK RUBBERS x 4
What I'm wondering is whether there are any others I should replace, such as anything that wears on the shocks or if the steering rack has any nasty rubber mounts I should replace while I'm down there.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

You might give some consideration to the front upper shock mounts as everything needs to come apart to replace those, so if they look questionable, you might go ahead and do it now since you'll be half way there.
If you've got the shock out of the car, you might do the lower shock bush too. I replaced the upper mount and the bushes but didn't do that one and now need to. I regret not having done it all at once.
You should be able to check the tie rod ends before hand and know if they need done. You'll need to do the alignment after the bushes anyway so if they do need replaced, now's the time. The front sway bar end links are fairly inexpensive and have rubber inserts that degrade over time.
Not sure if you plan on doing this yourself or getting someone with a lift to do it but you have to drop the rear subframe to replace the rear beam mount. The panhard rod bush is also not so easy to get to.
I suspect you'll be happy with the results when it's all done. Really tightens up the car.

Thanks so much, that's brilliant.
Much as I dislike working under jacked up cars I do intend to do the job myself, hopefully I can get someone to give me a hand with the rear subframe if it's too awkward to do by myself.
I'd best get shopping before all the selfish people stop working for Christmas. Thanks again.

Hate for you to get it all apart and be stuck.

Charlie,
Yes they do need pressing in.
The JTIS procedure involves an extraordinary number of special tools for a relatively straightforward job but I took the subframe and new bushes to my local Indy who replaced them for me with no difficulty.
( Bill - you need to factor in that not everyone will be under their Jaguars on Christmas Day and some local artisans could even take the day off. )
