Default new wheels for 2001 XKR, what do you think?

these wheels are on my 2001 XKR conv. now, original painted and I had them chromed, I am thinking of changing wheel style to these.
existing wheels on car now
These are the new wheels I am considering

I thought they looked a bit more updated for the car. What are your opinions?

My car was in accident and one wheel cracked so I have to by new wheel and have it chrome to match others, and the others do have some minor road rash, so I thought I could a buy whole new set at just twice the cost of one new wheel. the new ones are Jag wheels centuar model. Both wheels are 18" 8 in front and 9 in rear. I think they would be very nice on car, do you? Of course I realize it is what I like but I also appreciate other opinions too. Thanks for yours.

Nice.

Instead of 8" in the front and 9" in the back, you should consider putting the 18 x 9 wheel sizes on all four corners, front and back. This gives you more options for tire rotation, which will enable the tires to wear more evenly and last longer. You won't have to buy tires as often.

At the advice of some on this forum, I did this recently when I purchased new Double Five wheels. I've got 255 45R 18 tires on 18 x 9 rims, on all four corners. The wider wheels look great up front, they do not rub the wheel wells at all, and they do not drift or tramline.

Just a thought.

The wheels do update your car. Good choice. We expect some pics when mounted.

I like both styles of wheels, but I'm not big on the chrome, I think silver looks nicer. Those Gemeni wheels are pretty similar to my Fluted wheels.

Not big on chrome and I like the wheels in the top pic better. But that's just my opinion, and we all know what those are worth.

double fives, in silver, are the best of the bunch, the 2nd set is too many spokes. Sorry, before you chromed them, you should have just got them all refinished hypersilver again, they are one of the nicest you can get (behind the Reverend and I's Apollo wheels ) w/o going to the 'hard to repair' BBS wheels with that little trim ring made of pure unobtainium.
