My son just got a sweet deal on a one owner 1997 White XK8 with 69,000 miles.
The cat is pristine, showroom condition.
It's been garage kept for it's entire life and shows it.
A couple of issues though. It was hit in the left rear quarter recently (professionally repaired with a new quarter panel) and I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the rear quarter windows not operating and so the soft top won't go down.
Also the Stability Control/ Traction Control message is lit constantly.
I checked for trouble codes with my Snap-on MT2500 Scanner and there are none.
I'm not overly concerned about the Stability/ Traction issue.
I've repaired the module and replace wheel sensors on my own cars, but we would really like to get the Top working since tis the season here in New Jersey.
Any suggestions on where to begin troubleshooting would be appreciated.
