NLA parts x 3D-printing
I've searched the forum but did not find anything alike. Please help
Me and my team designs NLA classic car spare parts for various brands, with a vision of building the world's largest 3D inventory of obsolete parts, so car owners can always have access to all parts. Our priority is quality, therefore we use only powder-bed industrial 3D printing machines, unlike most 3D printing hobbyist around. I was always a Mercedes guy until my friend introduced me to a dark green XK8 coupe and I fell in love, therefore we are slowly 3D scanning this and other Jaguar parts, to recreate unobtanium parts.
I would like to ask fellow forum members: if you know any hard-to-find spare parts that we should focus on in the near future and re-engineer them?
We usually deliver the 1st piece for free if someone can share the original part with us (can be broken/chipped but must be complete).
Let me share some of the parts we have designed for Jaguar and other brands, so you get a glimpse of what quality is possible. For example:
- Dashboard speaker covers GJA6609AC
- Seat belt covers HND7150AALE
- ISOFIX covers HJD1245AA
- Seat belt trim bezels HJA7107BB / HJA7106BB
and more: https://octoclassic.com/product-category/jaguar
If someone would like to participate in such project, please let me know
Thanks for all suggestions and support.

Ho Octo8. Love your idea. I've invested in several 3D companies right now. Although I'm losing my shirt, I am a believer though. Get a 3D printer on the space station, and you've got a fully stocked parts store in your spaceship.
New first time jag owner myself, the part that gets me fussing is something small that most people don't even see. AAU2043 Rear license plate light. $58 US. Ridiculous. It's made of two parts. A plastic gasket, and a clear lens. What is silly is that the clear lens can be bought on a Triumph/MG parts site for <$5, but what you can't do is purchse the plastic gasket by itself. It's a piece that over time will crack and fail. At this time, I've got much more important things to spend money on than that. I've temporarily made the gasket out of a thin lexan. I would likely eventually buy either a new set......It's highly unlikely I'll find a good used set.
For me, AAU2043 would be a good piece to experiment with. Thanks, Michael North Carolina USA.

I'm going to be buying the lever and the passenger side seat cover from you. Any chance you can also make the seat belt buckle cover? Mine shattered and I can't find any replacements. HJE7017AGLEG (has various different suffixes depending on color) I would need all of mine parts to be black or charcoal colored.
This is an example of my buckle. Rounded edges of the later cars.

All of my 3 donor cars had broken covers, if I can get my hands on a clean or semi clean one, I could work on it

Hi, I would really like to see Third Brake Lamp Assemblies for X100 coupes. The mounts tend to break off as the plastic become brittle.
It would be fantastic to be able to reprint these.
Jaguar part number LJB5000AB
