Apologies to ALL.
I remembered cleaning up the fuse/relay box's at the front of the car and leaving WIFEY to put the cover on the right hand side single relay ( just to give her something to do and have a hand in the project ( FAIL ) ). I just left her to it as one of the covers would not fully engage in the retaining hole and was just sitting there. So when I checked today I discovered the relay was popped out of its mounting. Pushed it back in and he fired straight up.
Again profound apologies for wasting peoples time on this wild goose chase, my bad.
On good thing to come out of it is if someone else has similar fault readings this is a relay to check along the way.
Thanks again to everyone who helped.
Cheers,
Arty
I have the same problem, except not the wife but maybe a mechanic. Exactly which relay? I recently had my secondary cam chain tensioners replaced and now sometimes I have the no crank problem. If I hold the key in the start position for a few seconds the car cranks and starts.

Thanks

I am in th U.K and the relay that was dislodged was on the drivers side closest to the wing or fender, its located in the brake master cylinder compartment. There should be 2 single relays in there best to check them both, they are under plastic covers. Best of luck.
Arty.
