No fuel pressure in the rails
could any one tell me where these two pumps are and which one is primary.
i still don't understand why the fuel rail is not charged with the key in start postion.
can anyone clarify that for me.
external leaks or leaky injectors i don't think is the problem, the fuel rail takes hours to bleed off, and i don't small gas anywhere.
i thought is was the check valve in the fule pump was bleeding off over time, but after thinking about that it sound normal from a safety point of view.
so i'm back to no fuel rail pressure with the key in start.
please i need more info to solve this.

The two pumps are internal to the fuel tank and the tank must be drained and removed for access to them. The internal wiring harness has a history of failure but so do the pumps.
My '00 had a pump replaced then 3 days later, the harness. Thankfully, under warranty.
R&R is listed at 2.4 hrs plus drain.

ones on the same problem.By staying with on thread, the forum members can see what has been offered
for advice and add anything new.
You have been given advice and you don't want that answer.Between the regulators and the Filler
on the gas door are the following:Fuel neck.fuel tank,fuel pumps,fuel pump screens,fuel line,fuel filter,more fuel line
and then the regulator. It could be electrical going to the pumps, check fuse and relay,if they are okay,
then pull your fuel tank and check the harness wiring to the pumps. Then if that looks good,
check and see if the pumps are good.
