I dont have an owners manual to peruse after I buy a car ...I did not realize the dash buttons had a phone keypad
until my son pointed it out to me
Can someone clue me in on how this works?

 

It probably won't. Mine worked with an older cell phone but when I upgraded to an iPhone several years ago it did not work at all. The garage door opener does not work either with my new garage opener, I did some research and the HomeLink system made changes to the frequency they use several years ago and the older built in HomeLink buttons in our cars will not work as far as I can tell.

What part of Florida are you in? I'm in Citrus county north of Tampa on the Nature Coast.
