No power to top motor. Help (Solved)
Was cleaning the car (98 XK* convt.) in the driveway. No hose or anything like that, just damp rags. I put the top down and wiped everything I could get to. I put the top about halfway up and cleaned the inside rails/mecanism very lightly. I wiped the top portion of the windshied header. Then went to put the top the rest of the way down. It dropped the rest of the way but did not latch. Now the top will not operate. The 40 amp fuse is good. The relays click, but no power to the white wire at the pump. No green shower either. Any thoughs? HELP! I just bought the car two days ago. Jeez.

All fixed now
All fixed now! when the top was open and I was cleaning the windshield header I inadvertantly closed the top latch with my towl. When the top closed it pinned the header latch in the closed position! I was able to carefully force the top up enough to use the hex key and open the latch. I lowered the top and latched it with the hex key. Now the top is AOK again. Silly mistake confused the whole thing.
