Noise from right rear

Noise from right rear
I recently acquired a 1999 Jaguar VDP. I have noticed that I am getting a noise from the right rear as I drive over a bump. It does not happen when turning or going straight. It also does not happen when accelerating or stopping. I thought it was the shocks as the car has 78000 miles and has been sitting for a few years. After changing them out I still have the noise. I have had the car up on a rack and pried on the exhaust, driveshafts and wheels but feel no obvious loose culprit. I am thinking that my next effort to stop the noise is to change out the wheel bearing and probably u-joints while I have it apart. I would appreciate any suggestions anyone might have before I go to the trouble of replacing these items.
My other problem is my low coolant light comes on intermittently. I am fairly certain it is the sensor in the overflow tank. Is there anything that can be done to service the sensor or is it best to replace it?
Thanks for any suggestions. Dave

Wrong forum Vanden Plus is a XK8
Dave,
This is the X100 forum and covers 1996-2006 XK8 and XKR. We do seem to share a lot of common things with your car though.
Still you look to be on the right track and know what you’re doing with the rear suspension.
For our coolant tanks, try a pencil magnet down through the cap opening to see if you can fix a sticky float. Otherwise clean the sensor wire connector. If that doesn’t fix it, time to R&R.
