Hi! new here and also new to me is my -98 XKR, has some 130000km, and has been serviced at shop's(both Jag & indie) througout its life. Car is in real good shape for age, are set to do the servicing myself, have had enthusiast cars before this one(but perhaps none have been of the compexity of the XKR), anyway have had this weird noise seems to come from rear right, heard typically at around 100km/h(about 60 mp/h), it's of sort intermittent and sounds a little like som cars do when reversing(actually this XKR does this to when reverseing) although at higher pitch, most noticable is it when coasting and lifting the foot of the pedal, its not really loud, but clearly I can hear it above wind noise, it comes and goes in strenght and seems to be most noticable when lifting of foot from pedal. The car is not leaking any fluids and handles really good(som rattle in rear suspension at bumpy roads at low speed, which may be lower shock rubber worn out as I have read up a little on what ppl say about this), no vibrations at all, and as said typically its most noticable when lifting off the pedal, any ideas on where to start looking to get this sorted? at first i tought it might be at propshaft bearing, but the XK's dont have any, u-joints? wheel bearing? diff bearings?
thanks in advance
