Default Nothing to see here

Once again spring has arrived in Atlantic Canada. This past weekend I spent a few hours changing oil, shining and polishing. After 6 months of storage the big day came today.

I climbed in the car and turned the key. Started right up, no lights, no drama, just settled into the lovely purr I missed so much over the winter. Went for a ride around the block, about 50km, and not a single issue.

For the past 5 Springs, I back her out of the garage with AC/DC "You shook me all night long" playing at 11 on the garage CD player. But my wife asked me to go with something more modern. So I went with "Thunderstruck" .

In addition, last week I bought a new German convertible for the Mrs that will also be stored, we are thinking of making the spring unveiling an event.

Next time ask your wife to shoot some video of your garage reveal. Should be entertaining.

Remember to add some fog and stage lights!

Now I am thinking my car should have its own reveal song.

Hopefully that's about to happen here:- it's been a long time coming this year.

'Around the block' is an all-island tour for me, and I intend to do just that this weekend. Hope you enjoyed.

How about "The Bitch is back" by Sir Elton John?

I never get to the unveiling here Las Vegas. But it is the top down and Black Ice cranked up as I roll out of the garage. The wife is more Barry Manilow with the volume on low.

Mrs Redeye doesn't get to touch the cd/radio buttons in the Jag. In fact, it's an unwritten rule she's not allowed to touch ANY buttons in the car, EVER!
