Nutty Jag
At some point Dolly had some small rodent take up residence in her. The blower motors were the favorite hang out. After cleaning out the passenger fan I realized the drivers side was worse. In order to get the vacuum tube to a point that I could suck the acorns out I had to cut a 2x2 opening in the front of the housing. This allowed access and I could vacuum the damn acorn pieces out. The blower is quiet as a mouse now (pun intended). Airflow dramatically improved also. Here are a couple pics.
Here is where the hole I had to cut in the blower housing is. Was half way through cutting when I took pic.
Here is a shot of the acorns and fibers from the engine compartment inside the blower.

You’re “nuts” to cut into the blower.... but in a good way
Well done indeed.
Hope you’re “nuts” about the improvement in your cabin now. Rattling is a real kill-joy in the driver comfort of the X100.
Here, I finally managed to get a “quiet” driver experience, so, then decided to fit a more enthusiastic noisy exhaust.
I’m Asian so it’s all Ying-Yang to me..... Pass me the dremel angle grinder....
