Default O dear

i was just driving to dinner on sunday and randomly the check engine light comes on. We have had this thing in and out of the shop recently, not really for engine stuff, and the diagnostic never showed nothing.

I hope this is just a random warning light because I cannot afford an engine repair. I was driving the car nice and easy too so I don't know it's just driving me insane, and I'm venting.

i never thought a 93 jag would be more reliable then a 2000

I may be all wet here, so someone correct me if I'm wrong -- the 2000 should store the code even though the light is off. If it's an engine code I believe even the boys at Autozone can pull the codes for free. Check me on this before I send you out on a wild goose chase.

I'm not too worried about it. I know when my dad drove the car back from ohio the check engine light came on because a fuel sensor or somethiing thought the premium we put in wasn't good enough.

I havent driven it since sunday, and It hadnt been drive in a week, so I'll see what it says next time I drive.
