Just wait until he's old enough to drive; you'll have to keep the keys far away

I have to say, the rear view on the second gen XK is soooo much better than the first gen.

Now that he's hooked on that kind of horsepower you'll have to send him down to Cal Tech to get the physics piece down.

How do you like the Range Rover? Besides the fact that's its neat to have two British marques in the drive. I am considering one of those to replace my aging Benz...and the feedback about their reliability is, Oh...how do I say this..."off-putting".

I really haven't had many serious issues. Random little junk breaking and fault codes but nothing that ever took me off the road at all. All were easy fixes covered by warantee. I would definitely buy one that is still waranteed though. I bought mine about 2 years ago as a CPO. It would be smart of you to do the same, or at least one that is still in factory warantee for a spell. Most importantly, you do NOT want pre 2006. If you are going to venture outside of warantee, at least get an '06 or newer. Most of the sketchy stuff was '03-'05 when BMW was in charge. Ford did a decent job with it after that... and then Tata of course. It's nice being able to bring both cars to the same dealer and/or mechanic too!!!

I remember my daughter saying that she could not wait to drive. I'm gonna drive this car I love it, 1986 Mercury Sable wagon. I think she liked it because it had the rear facing third seat and none of her friends had ever see that before. I think you have a better shot at your son keeping his word.

I like the gravel in your driveway. They implemented some runoff restrictions around here about the time my house was built, so my driveway has to be porous. My driveway is 120 feet long, and paving stones would cost way more than I'm willing to spend. The builder put down some course gravel, which I really don't like. I've looked at other types of gravel, but I've never seen that stuff in your driveway. It looks like slate chips or something. Do you know what it's called?

LOL! Nevermind. I just googled "slate chips" and voila! That's what it's called! LMAO! I'm going to have to look into that.

DONE AND DONE!!!!

I sooooo should not have bought this. I'm going to need to work some killer overtime now. But anything for my little girl .

I can see it now, someone asks her "Joscelyn, what was your first car"
My daddy bought me a Jaguar XK when I was three

LOL I can see it now. I can see her going to her mom's and telling "MOMMY!!! DADDY BOUGHT ME A JAGUAR FROM SHOPPING!"

To be honest though, this sure as hell beats the cheapo pink Vette or Escalade I was originally going to buy her this summer.

thank you guys soooo much!! Big kisses all around.
