tberg, Your head's in the right place. Bigvette, I've spent days cramped up in boat bilges and nights thinking out problems and have sworn off mechanical repairs a hundred times. Get some help on this one if you need to, find out what the problem was for the next time (there's always a next time) and go from there. I'm crazy enough to get a big kick out of finally getting something to work, so I guess that's why I keep going back for more.

Glad your son and wife are going to be okay, It does seem things happen in three's. I had to go away this weekend so the car did not get to the shop yet. I will take it in the morning.

Again, thank you one and all for all the help and support.

Anyone want to buy a 1998 XK8? I have the full reapir and part history from the day I bought the car.

I am asking a million Dollars, for all the pain and suffering Ha ha ha Thanks guys.

As long as you're letting someone else cover the pain and suffering bill, if the numbers are right I'd be interested. AND I'm in NJ.

Let me know,

George

I think those of us who have been crazy enough to own boats find a Jaguar a mere amusement.
Like you - a boat bilge at sea with a gale blowing is not an amusing scenario.
Even a decent blue water yacht makes a Jaguar look like a Lego toy in terms of what's actually at stake.

FIXED!!!!!!!

Turns out it was a fuse, I missed it. Darn, I am going blind now too.

Again, I want to thank everyone for the support and help, and I will let the pros work on the car now.

Hope everyone is safe and happy.

Think I'll hang on to her for a while now. Until I get upset again.

Yes, I am VERY happy now. I hate it when my car is broken & I can't figure it out. I really enjoy the car.

My new shop is still under construction. Email me and I'll send you a link to the construction photo album.

J&M Automotive - 2343 Kuser road is the new shop / dealer. Should be open by March 1.

Our original shop is 1296 Rt 33. It's in the Getty station.

I'm still working on the web page. Dragging my brother into the digital world is harder than it seems LOL.

PM me and I'll give you my cell and we can chat.

Take care,

George
