Folding the legs to get in is pretty much the standard, but when you get old, the manual leg assist goes with the teritory.

At a little over 6'-2" I fit nicely into both my 2002 XKR convertible and my 2010 coupe (although I wouldn't object to having an inch or two more leg room in the 2002). Now when getting into my Pantera, I have to practice folding myself into a pretzel first and then unwrapping once inside. When on the track and wearing a helmut, my head is at a 45 degree angle in order to get the helmut and my head in without continuously banging on the roof. Needless to say, I have a stiff neck at the end of the day.
