Default Parasitic Drain Question

When you trip the latches in the XK8, are the switches (doors, hood, truck, etc) the only way to open them?

Leave the doors and trunk open but the latches latched so the car will arm and you can do checks as needed

I assume that goes for the bonnet also.

It is easier to follow the wire from the RH hinge where the micro-switch is located to its plug and just unplug it. While searching for a drain on a friends car I ran across ths video and the method was simple and it works.

you dont really need the bonnet open and is much harder to do. See above post. The rest you can latch with a small screw driver

I didn't have a problem with setting all of the latches, but I might try the connector disconnect next time.
