Part n° for '3 gauge' wiring harness?

Frog-
The electrical diagram is attached.
The minor guage cluster does not have a 'dedicated' harness. You are going to need to pull the major guage cluster and check connectors FC25 and FC26 and see if the wires shown in the diagram are connected to the minor guage cluster connector FC-79 and just not plugged into anything OR if they are omitted altogether.
If FC-79 is there, and just sitting unplugged you may be in luck. If the wires are omitted, then we may need to get creative, since this is part of a much larger harness. Then there is also the open question of whether the cars have different software.
Depending on what you find, this might start to make my video gauges look easy .

I really think you are wasting your time trying to fit the original gauges, I would accept the idea better if the gauges were any good but the only accurate one is the clock!
But if you are that dedicated I can help you to a certain degree, I have thrown those gauges away in my track car and where they once were are my heater controls, so the plug is probably just sitting there and I could trace back as far as poss and simply cut it, you might be lucky and there maybe a plug connection on the other end but I would not hold your breath.
Why dont you simply fit 3 seperate gauges and wire them up individually at least they would work correctly and you could always make the swap reverserible.
Just my 2 cents worth

Many thanks for your help. I know the gauges are rubbish, but I think they look so much nicer than the OE satnav, which looks like a tv set from the 1950s and draws maps like my old Sinclair Spectrum.
It's not as if I'll be losing information anyway; the satnav only gives the time.
XKRacer, I may well take you up on your kind offer of help. I just need to sort out the veneer dash part

Agreed. We just need one member to go for it and then tell us how he did it If I could get the veneer part easily, I would even consider just sticking it in the dash without wiring everything up.

It is not difficult to pull the veneer of the MAIN (speedometer) gauge cluster and check the wiring harness there. For all you know the connector for the minor guage cluster might just be sitting there unused...then again it might not....but it is worth checking out IMHO.
