Pax Seat Heat and "Lites On" Green Light
#23
Yup. Pretty sure it's the seat module. I tried the other seat functions. Nada. No movements of anything. If I remember my schematic correctly, all seat functions, including seat heat, go through the module. So we're narrowing it down. Who knows - maybe it could just be a loose connector? (I can dream can't I? - lol)

Hi Steve,
Well I at least checked the connector (yellow) under the pax seat and seemed secure. I'd love to check the fuses, but there is no friggin diagram of the fuse box (any of them!) showing which fuse is number 16. I even looked under the trunk fusebox cover for information - nada. I would love to know why fuse location is such a secret on this car. I have both the maintenance manual and the electronic manual for my specific year and neither have diagrams of the fuseboxes. Absolutely amazing. All I can do is see that it's a 20 or 25 amp fuse and then check "all" of those. Out of shear desperation, I'll try the owners manual, but given today's philosophies on them, it probably won't have any troubleshooting info.
Is the control module the black box just under the front of the seat? I hope so. With the seat movements disabled I won't be able to move the seat around to unbolt it from the floor. I won't be able to get to anything else underneath.

The yellow connector is not connected to module.
The fuse panel is on the right panel when you open pax door.
my error, fuse 16 is not the supply, the supply is fuse 1, 20A. Check it first.
Also check fuse #8, 10A. That is power to the seat switches.
