PCV Valve

PCV Valve
It's broken.
Today, after the genetics lab, I headed down to AutoZone and bought the 1/4" u joint to deal with the last bolts on the valve cover. I decided to inspect the area, knowing full well I won't be finishing the work on the car today. That's when I noticed the PCV valve is broken. Around it I can see a deposit of sludgelike black oil. It doesn't look to me like if that part is serviceable... Is it? Are there any part numbers? Should I just try to mend it somehow?

Yeah, that's what I meant. It's like this little weird koala phallus shaped object with a plastic hose running out of it. It's on the outside top corner of the valve cover on the drivers side.

Short answer no.
Long answer:
I'm a science student, in biology class the professor was explaining evolution, and she dived into explaining mammal evolution, therapsids, marsupials, placental, and whatever. She briefly mentioned that some animals have two or three pronged penises or in different shapes from ours and as a result their equivalent mates have evolved vaginas and cervixes suited for that those weird shapes. The Koala has a two pronged *****, while the part isn't two pronged, it does resemble the shape of a koala's phallus.
That was the most accurate description I could find.
