Phone Mount For Jag

I saw phone mount on E Bay last night from Kudausa.com. Its leather and mounts to the passenger side of the console. I looks like a very clean fit, comes in a variety of colors and I was wondering if any one has purchased or tried one? One day I will learn how to attach pics to my posts. Jim

Not for the Jag, but KUDA makes great stuff. I have one of their mounts in my S8, and I actually know (one of?) the distributors for them here in Texas. He's even local and dropped it off at my house. They are OE units I believe on some makes. If it says it fits, I'm sure it does. Go for it.

Thanks white, when i looked at the pics on the web it looked like a very clean fit and does not encroach very much on the passenger compartment. Not much of an issue with use the boss (wife) is only 5' 3". Don't mind spending a few if it doesn't take away from the looks of the car and It does look great in your car. Chris it does list one for our cars. Thanks Jim

You attach an accessory phone mount to it like one of these: Amazon.com: iphone car holders
or you can use a bit of velcro and mount it flat.
The point is it gives you a nice mounting position in a convenient location without damaging any surface in your car, plus there is room inside if you want to hide a charger.

Not that I've noticed, and I've had two different phones over the last 3 years since I've had the mount/magnet combination. I'm usually very attuned to anomalies, I would have hoped I could have spotted something by now.

One nice thing about the XK8 & XKR of this vintage is the near-flat dashboard. Right next to the three gauges I was able to stick a decent bracket from Bracketron that I picked up at Best Buy. It came with double sided sticky tape that's worked like a charm for about three years now.
I prefer the phone mounted up high as I use it for navigation (Google Navigate). Also, this bracket was big enough to accommodate my switch to a very large phone recently (Galaxy Note II).
