The E-Type was my second, I had a 67 in the early 80's. I sold it when my wife and I wanted to move. My wife actually found this with the help of our long time mechanic and gave it to me as a surprise 27th wedding anniversary gift in 2007. She knows my life long love of British sport cars and Jags, so she was all for me selling it to get the XKR. My wife daughter and I really felt sad seeing the E being flat bedded away up to NY.
Like Many others have said I would never have made the move without this forum. It has been my all waking hours insanity for many months.
THANK YOU ALL

Yes it has the carbon fiber option. I always thought wood only and then when I saw this car it was instant wow I gotta have it.

Beautiful cars Steelman3!
When you posted your Victory Edition was copper black with a charcoal interior, I was intrigued to see it. All copper black cars I have seen, including mine, have the cream and saddle interior. Yours would have been a one of one! Please check the paint code in your door jam. It looks like your car is black metallic (PEC?), not copper black metallic (JEP).
Here's a picture of my car.

You sir are correct PEC for the exterior and LEG for the interior. Although I find it no less beautiful although not the rare of the rare. I will change my signature.
I gotta say, this is an awesome forum. I have started a folder for the links I am hoping I won't need.
I did take the advice from something I read about extended warranties, I am taking the $3500.00 or so I would have paid and am putting it into an account and figure adding a bit every month.
