A Pillar trim
Looking to recover the driver side A pillar with new trim fabric, existing was replaced prior to me purchasing the vehicle and does not match the passenger side. I’ve been to 3 fabric stores and 1 auto interior shop to no avail…..the trim color on the door is LEG. Wondering if anyone has had any luck with a perfect match and if so where did they find the fabric. Thanks

Try a much-longer-in-business auto interior shop. This was one of the first jobs I did on my wife's 2006 XK8 Victory Edition after we acquired it in early February 2012. I took her to the auto interior shop I have been doing business with since the early 1980s so she could pick out the fabric she wanted. Her interior is Cashmere. The shop had nearly 200 different remnants they classified as "tan" or "beige" and she had to look at each and every single one of them before she settled on the 25 or so she took outside to her car to look at them laying across the dash in the sunlight. Not sure who got more frustrated waiting on her - me or the shop foreman....
I remember it cost me $15 plus tax for that remnant and I have enough remaining to recover both A pillars one more time. I slipped the shop foreman a $20 for having to put up with us ....
