Thanks guys. I've been keeping an eye on the tire threads here for quite a while and hadn't really heard anything bad about the Hankooks. I think I'll go that rout. I'm headed to the tire shop now to get my used Pirelli put on so I can at least drive my car for a little bit without the red doughnut.

Oh and I sent pictures and called the place where I got the tires and told them they were garbage. They wouldn't get back to me. I called the credit card company to dispute the charge and they called him. The guy called back a few hours later and said he took a look at the pictures and "We sent the wrong tires - we had 2 sets of those and I will refund your card". At least I'm not stuck with these, but I lost two weeks with my car and now I have to get all new. I wish I would have just known that from the start.

Looks like burnout time for a little bit until I get my new tires!

 

Actually, checking my receipts, the northern KY dealer was Bob Sumerel Tire and the cost was $946 before tax. Buying online would have actually saved about $25/tire, in my case. If something goes wrong with the tires, at least I have the local dealer as my first stop.

 

I bought my Hankook tires from TireRack and had them shipped to their recommended installer close to me. Saved some $$$'s.
