Default Problem roof

Have 2005 xk8 roof has been fine recently had message on dash not closed properly so stopped and closed on button and have been unable to open since
following advice drained and replaced oil used Alan key to manually open roof catch cleaned and oiled still won't open I feel it wants reseting any help please I was told to message whitexkr Steve the jag wrangler

A quick check you can do is swap the top up and top down relays and see if it will ope. Next follow the link to the Jagrepair.com website for everything there is to know for the convertible top.

Changed fluid would like to bleed system

The roof is a self bleeding system just operate it a few times.
