Default Pulley upgrade or re-map or both?

I have a jag XKR 4.2 2004 (X100) and I am thinking of either a pulley upgrade and or engine re-map as the car feels a little flat?

I'm looking for a lively and responsive driving experience. The car is super quick as it is but not lively enough!

What are you thoughts?

I didn't realise there was a 4.2 option on the F for a start...

Have you looked into the throttle pedal cable adjustment procedure? Basically, the slack in the pedal cable need to be taken out. And it is a whole $0, too.
