R/frt window binding
I have a right hand drive 1997 XK convertible. When you open the Doors, the window is supposed lower about 1 inch to clear the top. The right hand side front window "acts" like it wants to go down, and actually moves 1/8 inch and has a sound like its binding. Any ideas???

Try resetting the window top memory positions:
1. Roll down window & keep holding switch until you hear a CLICK
2. Now (with the top up), roll up window until it's in the top position & again keep holding until you hear a CLICK
These "top memory" points get reset if you happen to drain the battery, disconnect the battery, fuse, etc...

It sounds like the adjustment bolt is just loose. Click on the link down in my signature line to go to my youtube channel. There's one video which shows how to remove the door panel and another which shows how to adjust the window. I'm guessing that the big bolt right in the middle of the door has come loose and the window is all the way up at the upper limit of its travel. You probably need to slide the bolt so the window doesn't go up so high, then tighten down the bolt.
But that's just a guess.

I tried to re-sync the windows by holding the button. That didn't do it. It looks like its not going down that much. Im going to try and adjust the window, but I still think its binding. Would it not move if the vertical adjustment

However, greasing the runners (I used white lithium grease; not sure if that was the correct stuff) seemed to improve it, and if anything it's got better since then - I suspect as the grease got spread along the runners.
