Radiator filler point
Hello Folks!!..
I smelled some antifreeze the other day, and I traced it to that little tank where you put in the fluid. It seems to be weeping out the bottom. Would that be around the sensor?. Should I just replace the sensor, or do I need to do something else??...
Thanks for the info..

The opening for the sensor allows the sensor to fit into the tank but does not make contact with the coolant. It is isolated. Your tank has sprung a leak and is either a clamp or a crack. I have a little information on the tank http://www.gusglikas.com/AutoRepairCoolantTank.htm

It sounds like you need a tank. Go to http://www.motorcarsltd.com/ They may have a used one if that is what you are looking for.

I know!
Weather is great . . . for a big change.
No time to unload brass . . .
Parts in and rebuilding suspension of my old Volvo. All the old bad out today, all the good new in tomorrow. Think I just bent the ball joint 'C' clamp I 'rented' through a local AP store. Twenty-eight year old wishbone bushings do not want to give up easy. Four foot pipe on a breaker bar is hard to resist.
Note on Volvo suspension . . . after 28 years, two of the wishbone bushings had failed, two were still serviceable.
