Default ramdom warning chimes

For no apparent reason the chimes, "chime." Is it possible to just disconnect, as most other times when there is a reason for such. there is no chime.
My Jaguar in a 2005 XKR convertible which I have owned for 10+ years. Thank you for any advice.
