Default I have the same problem. Any updates on what was wrong with your car?

then i let it sit, fans on full, they go off, eventually after cool down i drive it again, and it overheats(guarge climbs)....NO idiot light, no message.

wtf?????
i have the same problem, have you figured out what the problem it?

I've got an OBD temp gauge on my 02 XKR. It runs between 90 and 100 Celsius. I panic if it hits 100. At what temp should I worry?

My 2001 XKR's normal op temp runs at 195/205 Fahrenheit, in the UK
It can go up to 210/215 "F" when driven hard/fast, but it drops back to 195/205 "F" quickly.

Your 90/100 Celsius (194/212 "F") is in the normal temp range i would think...

I was using OBD as a temp gauge but decided to install the Real Gauge

REAL GAUGE.

OBD GAUGE.

Yassmin Khalaf....

I cant say what your problem may be...
But i would be checking the water temp before and after the thermostat and the water tank with an infrared thermometer.
I would also think about the coolant temperature sensor.
CTS ..part number LNA1600AA superseded by XR832403 (i think)...
