Rear Bumper Options?

Rear Bumper Options?
Rear Bumper Options?
I'm loving Jaguar ownership, and the lines of the xk8 have got to be some of the sexiest on the road......There's just one thing........
Why can i see the underside of my cars boot floor when i look at the car from behind? It looks like the rear bumper isn't big enough, a terrible bit of design work imho.
Its a bit like a highly sophisticated beautiful young lady, sipping champagne at the country club ball, with the back of her skirt tucked in her knickers!!
So to the question, is there any easy 'bolt on' options?
I've spoken to Paragon about their rear bumpers, and they require a little more than just replacing the bumper. Apparently they require the mounts to be modified!?
Is the later XK8 2002-2003 bumper different to the earlier ones?
As usual, all help appreciated.

Unlike export models, UK bumpers are non energy absorbing and the main rear mounts are a simple composite design:
The main Bumper beam Mounting Brackets for 1997 through 2005 are listed as the same Part No HJE6567AA. The Guide Blocks on the side are HJA6554AB apart from the very early cars which were HJA6555AB.
The 4.2 cars do have a deeper bumper and the common mounting brackets suggests you may be able to fit one to an earlier car. The problem could be finding one!
