Default Rear bumper problem

Hi,
I have a problem with my XK8 2004 rear bumper.
The left beam mounting bracket https://www.sngbarratt.com/uk/#!/Eng...6-0d29da17980a had totally disintegrated.
Where the aluminum adjustable piece was, there remained only some small pieces and some white dust.
The right bolt going through the mounting bracket came out alright, but the left one I cannot get out.
The nut inside the beam is lose and just spinning.
I must take the bumper apart to get to the nut.
I found this instruction on the the forum:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...stment-101947/
My question is:
Where can I get the nine new fasteners and center pins that hold the bumper cover to the beam?

Just to clarify, do you really have to take the bumper off?? i.e is it hanging off?

I had a similar issue where one of the bracket to bumper bolt came out and the other just spins. I could not remove the bracket to car bolts as the heads are too rusty. So rather then cut off the bracket and replace it, then take the bumper apart and etc.. all which was looking to cost more and more I have just left it.

Yes, I have to take the bumper off.
It is now only secured by the right mount, where I succeeded in geting the bolt out and replacing the mount with a new one.
The only way to get to the spinning nut is to disassemble te bumper.

As you are in Sweden, I think you will have the non-energy absorbing bumper with the plastic beam? The energy absorbing version used in the US has a metal beam.

It sounds like you have got beyond this stage .......

........... and progressed to fitting the replacement brackets:

The steel hexagon bolts (see item 5) which go through the brackets screw into brass "nuts" in the plastic beam. These frequently seize and just rotate when you try to remove the hexagon bolt. You can be brutal removing the hexagon bolts by cutting off the heads. The brass "nuts then usually fall out of the beam (see item 1) and can be separated on the work bench.

New hexagon bolts (P/N JBU11218E) are available from Jaguar:
https://www.jaguarclassicparts.com/uk/part/JBU11218E

Rarely for Jaguar parts, these are very low cost!

OK
Seems like a good solution.
But how do I fixate the brass nut in the beam so it doesn't rotate when tightening the new bolt?

SuperGlue. The bond will be stronger than the plastic bumper beam.

On re-assembly, coat the threads and shaft of the hexagon bolts with Copaslip to prevent the steel seizing to the alloy:

Default Copper lube is one of the greatest garage secrets

For those of us who keep cars a long time, copper anti seize lube must be one of the best garage secrets.

Still don’t know how exactly it stops contact corrosion, including steel and aluminium contact (bi metallic corrosion), but it works for years.... always.

No, that is strange. Copper is a very good electrical conductor, and still copper-paste does prevent bi metallic corrosion. I heard of one who used copper-paste in the contacts for his central electronic unit. That didn't turn out very good :-o

I prefer the aluminium based equivalent. Land Rover supply the Zeta brand (high pressure + high temperature + anti seize) but there's plenty of others available.

Used on the face of hubs where they contact the wheels, it doesn't show against the alloy the way Copaslip does.
