Default Rear Speed Sensor (ABS) connectors

I have been troubled for months with intermittent ABS problems (No traction control), which normally clears itself at the next start-up. I have, over time, checked all sensors and connections, apart
from the connections of the two rear ones. What I need is the location of where the short cable from the sensor connects to the cable going to the ABS brake modulator. I think I have an intermittent cable break or connector
and I have thoroughly checked the front, as well as having repaired the soldered power connections on the modulator PCB. I am thinking I might have to remove the rear seat, but I thought I would
ask before starting that job.

Thanks.

You might want to check the OBD II codes (either your own reader or have Autozone, etc, do it) to see if the car thinks the sensors are the issue. If the car think's it's another issue, you can focus there. Also, there's this bit of troubleshooting information

Thanks for the info, but I have already traveled that road. What I am trying to find out is the physical position of the connectors of the short cables connecting the rear sensors to the cable heading towards the brake modulator. Are they behind the rear seat? Under the chassis? or some other hidden location. I easily located the connectors of the front sensors, located under the hood on top of the wheel arches, but I can't find the rear ones.

Connectors BT72 (left) and BT73 (right), located to the rear of the respective rear hub assemblies. Both wires eventually running up to 20 way connector BT2, in the boot/trunk above the rear right wheel arch. Not under the rear seat.

Has the ABS given code(s) for one of these? Your initial message seems to indicate a rather nonspecific problem.
