These mirrors slide onto a clip that is tension mount. You will have to remove the mirror and bent the mount a little tighter before sliding the mirror back on.

Well, there are TWO attachment points that can loosen and lead to a shaky mirror.
1) where the mirror stem attaches to the windshield, and
2) where the actual mirror attaches to the stem.
My mirror is tight on the windshield, but has just developed a shake because of a loose connection at the stem. I haven't had the time to really investigate it yet.
