Rearview mirror replacement?

Rearview mirror replacement?
Does anyone offer a fitted piece of mirror that can be placed over the damaged one with the liquid?
I personally never use my rearview mirror and will be tinting my back window soon and it really doesn't make sense to me to have it removed and exchanged for a new or fixed one.

This is a link to a place to get your mirror repaired Sybesmas Electronics, Electronic Repair Now you can go to any good auto glass shop for a replacement mirror of your choice but think of the cost. Repairing what you have by Sybesmas is around $100.00 +/- a few, a replacement mirror at a local shop could cost $60.00+. Something to think about.

Be warned...there have been several cases where the liquid in the mirror, which is quite toxic and corrosive, has eventually eaten through the mirror casing and dripped into the interior of the car. The liquid ruins anything it touches.
So, you need to either refurbish the mirror (through Sybesma), or find some other way to get the offending liquid out. I would definitely NOT recommend any solution that left the liquid in place. Eventually, you will regret it.

The conversions done by Sybesma remove the toxic stuff, and replace it with a gel that is less toxic and less likely to leak in the future.
I used them for my mirror...it was quick, inexpensive and they did quality work. Highly recommended.
