FOB OK, no red light after flashing
Hello
my FOB emits signal on 433Hz frequency as tested in a shop, but it does not open/close doors.
I followed your instructions (position 1, flash, move to position 2, flash 5 times until red light/chirp, BUT I HAVE NO RED LIGHT AND NO CHIRPS.
I tried with door close, open, moving 5 times key from position 1 to 2 and back.
no red light, no chirps.
Any way to understand if my receiver on car is broken?
thanks
Luca

I tried to find the fob receiver module in the boot (XK8 Convertible 1997) but didn’t find it.
on the occasione I found 2 connectors disconnected but not connectable (different ends). Anybody knows what are these for?
see my video of the battery area in the boot.

Not quite working on my 1006 XJ6
Hi,
I followed the steps for my 1996 XJ6 4.0 Sovereign and got all chirps and beeps, but to no avail. The remote worked before I had to change the battery. Both buttons on it flash green/red so I know that should work, but I still don't get a connection that works afterwards.
Thanks!
